Protection board for 3-cell (3S) lithium-ion packs, 11.1 V nominal and 12.6 V full charge, rated 20 A.
Overview
A battery management (protection) board for building 3S lithium-ion packs from three 18650 or similar cells in series, giving 11.1 V nominal and 12.6 V when fully charged.
It disconnects the pack on overcharge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuit, protecting the cells while charging and in use. B-, B1, B2 and B+ connect to the cell taps, and P- and P+ carry the load and the charger.

Compatibility
Use with three lithium-ion cells of the same type and capacity, such as our 18650 cells, and a charger with a 12.6 V output.
Important Notes / Safety
- Bring all three cells to the same voltage before assembly; cell balancing is not claimed for this board.
- Connect the cell wires in order, starting from B-, and check every tap voltage before connecting the load or charger.
- Not for LiFePO4 cells, which need a board with different voltage thresholds.
