MH-KC24 QC3.0 4-Channel DC-DC Buck Converter

Overview

The MH-KC24 four-channel module converts a 6-32 V DC source, such as a car or truck battery, a solar battery bank or a DC adapter, into four independent USB-A fast-charging ports.

Each port outputs 5 V by default and negotiates up to 12 V with phones and devices that support Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0, Huawei FCP/SCP, Samsung AFC and other common protocols. Protection against input over- and under-voltage, over-current, output short circuit and over-temperature is built in.

Compatibility

Charges phones, tablets and other USB devices. Devices without a supported fast-charge protocol charge at the standard 5 V rate.

Important Notes / Safety

• Keep the input at least 2 V above the output voltage and within 6-32 V.
• Check the polarity before connecting the input, and fuse the supply wire in vehicle installations.
• At full load on all ports the board runs warm; mount it with airflow and do not enclose it tightly.
