2x 18650 Battery Holder

Overview

A two-cell holder for 18650 lithium-ion cells. The cells sit in series, giving about 7.4 V nominal (8.4 V fully charged), on red (+) and black (−) leads ready to solder or connect to a terminal block. Cells drop in and out without spot welding.

Typical Applications

• Robot car chassis and motor driver boards
• Portable Arduino and ESP32 projects (through a suitable regulator)
• Feeding buck converters and small amplifier boards
• Bench prototypes that need a removable battery

Compatibility

Takes two standard 18650 cells, such as our 18650 lithium-ion cell.

Package Includes

• 1 × 2-cell 18650 holder with wire leads (cells not included)

Important Notes / Safety

• The holder has no protection circuit. Add a 2S BMS or protection board, or remove the cells for charging in a proper lithium-ion charger.
• Use two cells of the same type and capacity at the same state of charge, and observe the polarity markings.
